Details: Royal United Mortgage is expanding and taking over more space for a 2nd time!! As we are growing, we are creating new positions - our newest being the Assistant Director of Operations.This position is responsible for the Operations , DE Underwriting team and process-flow management of our mortgage operations center. More specifically, this position is responsible for the workflow and quality standards of the processing, underwriting and closing divisions while insuring the highest level of customer service is delivered to our client base on a consistent and measurable basis.A qualified candidate most possess and have a proven track record of delivering the following skill sets: Manage/balance workflow amongst the various business units on a daily/weekly/monthly basis utilizing the daily reporting capabilities of our operating systems Provide skill set analysis and training of staff, both new-hire and existing team members Ability to recognize gaps/disruptions in process flow and develop and implement plans to rectify Ability to multi-task and prioritize while maintaining a top line review of the overall operation Ability to work independently, research ,discover and then collaborate with the various divisions of the company to implement a fully functional plan of action Strong technical mortgage banking background and the ability to research and work with various investors and loan programs, including but not limited to: conventional, FHA/VA, 203(k), jumbo and IHDA. Ability to forge relationships and work in conjunction with sales team members and sales management Ability to research and execute on changing regulatory and compliance issues, including the creation of policy and procedures if needed
