AVP - BSA Officer

Details: The person we are looking for will be working in the Compliance Department. The responsibilities of the Compliance Department mainly, but not limited to, are the followings: •          Assist maintenance of BSA/AML/OFAC and other Compliance Policies, Procedures, Programs and Standard Operating Procedures in a current condition •          Prepare BSA/AML/OFAC and other Compliance Risk Assessments of the branch, and ensure sufficient mitigating factors and controls are in place •          Ensure all staff are  aware of and understand  compliance  issues,   including  any  new  Federal   and  State  laws  or regulations •          Review and analyze branch’s all policies, procedures and SOPs to ensure compliance •          Reviewing any regulatory changes to ensure compliance with new requirements •          Providing assistance and guidance to all employees regarding interpretation and implementation of  BSA/AML/OFAC and other laws and regulations   •          Review CIP/CDD/EDD documentations of the new customers and complete new customer acceptance procedures •          Perform periodic review of existing customers’ CDD/EDD documentations •          Perform initial, annual and periodic BSA/AML risk analysis of all customers •          Create, review and analyze customer and account profiles •          Review cash log to ensure timely filing of properly completed Currency Transaction Reports •          Monitoring, investigating and reviewing potential suspicious activities, preparing reports of investigations •          Review customer and non-customer activities and alerts generated using AML monitoring system •          Ensure timely filing of all Suspicious Activity Reports (SARs) •          Prepare periodic and ad-hoc reports on BSA/AML monitoring and compliance •          Review and decide on the alerts generated by OFAC filters •          Ensure bank’s OFAC filters are working properly •          Ensure timely transmission of all reports to OFAC •          Review OFAC rules and regulations, decide on OFAC blocking or rejection of transactions •          Perform manual and automated section 314(a) requests, or any law enforcement request/ Grand Jury subpoena on a timely manner •          Review, accept and renew W8 and US PAC files and logs •          Perform CDD reviews of correspondent banks •          Perform periodic review and analysis of bank products, transactions, and customers •          Perform periodic review and analysis of bank’s programs, monitoring systems, alerts, risk assessment and customer profiling parameters
