Details: Our client, a major international bank in New York City, is seeking a VP of Credit Research to join its Corporate Research Department. The successful candidate can come from credit, equity, or economic research background, but must possess strong knowledge of Telecom, Media, and Technology sectors. Knowledge of the credit / credit approval process is ideal. Major Responsibilities: Prepare comprehensive reports mainly on TMT sector including analysis on individual companies Perform in-depth analysis of companies in TMT industries Give recommendations on fundamental ratings in credit process Attend Credit Meetings Offer advice with regards to industry risk and/or growth prospects. Make periodical and ad-hoc presentations to bank officers and management Maintain and leverage extensive, proprietary industry information sources necessary to provide useful research conclusions.
